Spicy Chicken and Jalapeno Penne Pasta in my (Wanna Be) Vodka Sauce
Hey everyone! I know this isn't very low fat but everyone in my family loves it! It's my go to dish when we can't agree on what we want for dinner.
Prep Time: 15 min
Cook Time: 20 min
What You'll Need:
- 24 oz (one jar) of "Classico" Red Pepper Marinara Sauce
- 8 oz of "Classico" Light Alfredo Sauce
- 1 lb. of Penne Pasta
- Perdue Pre-cooked Grilled Chicken Slices
- 5 Jalapenos
- 1 Cup of Diced Tomatos
- 1 Garlic Clove
- 1 White Onion
- 2 Tbsp Olive oil
How To:
- Put olive oil in sauce pan and heat on high
- Begin to boil water
- Dice garlic clove
- Place garlic in saucepan until it goldens
- Drain juice from tomato can
- Dice onion
- Dice Jalapenos
- Cut chicken into smaller pieces
- When garlic is golden, place tomato, onion, jalapenos, and chicken in sauce pan
- Once water is boiling, stir in pasta
- In smaller pot, mix 24 oz of marinara sauce with 8 oz of alfredo sauce
- Once chicken is warm, mix in ingredients from the sauce pan into the pot with sauce
- Cook pasta until tender
- Drain pasta and serve 1 cup of pasta with 1 cup of sauce
- Mangia!
