Homemade Banana Ice Cream With Whey Protein



Prep Time: 5 minutes
"Cook" Time: 20 minutes

What You'll Need (per serving):
- 1 cup of Coconut Milk
- 1 packet of Splenda
- 1/2 scoop of Optimum Nutrition Whey Protein Powder
- 4-6 Tblsp of Rock Salt
- 2 Quarts of Ice Cubes
- 1 Sandwich Bag
- 1 Quart Sized Bag

How To:
- Place first 3 ingredients (milk, splenda, and protein) in sandwich bag
- Seal sandwich bag firmly
- Place rock salt and ice into quart bag
- Place sandwich bag inside of quart bag, sealing both securely
- Gently agitate inner ingredients for 15-20 minutes
- Take sandwich bag out of quart bag and place your ice cream in a bowl
- Mangia!

- Calories: 134
- Fat (g): 5
- Carbs (g): 11
- Protein (g): 12

Notes:
- Feel free to try different flavors by using extracts, cocoa powder, syrups, and different flavors of protein powder
- Add toppings such as low-fat whipped cream and banana and coconut granola to sweeten things up like I have in the picture
- If you're having a hard time keeping the contents of the sandwich bag in the actual sandwich bag, try double bagging
- If you want your ice cream to be a little thicker, place it in the freezer for a couple of minutes to harden it up
- Substitute almond milk or skim milk if you're not a fan of coconut milk
